Trying to figure out what my life has been for the past 27 years.. I would say that my younger years until highschool were the happiest ones. Those were the years when I had so many friends, when I was really positive in life. Until college came and everything was changed. It’s like a total different chapter. I admit I’ve got lots of things I regret doing. But what else I can do. I guess it’s too late to go back and make eveything alright. Now that I’m already working, I still make mistakes. Little ones, big ones… All the time. And it’s exhausting. Most of the time I wish I am a different person. Or I wish I change personality every year. So I can easily cope up with every changes life is there to offer. I haven’t been nice to myself as well. Which is really bad because I let others overpower me just to avoid crucial discussions. If only I could turn back time, I’ve got a bucket list of the things I’m not going to do anymore. I won’t let history to repeat itself. Because to be honest, being nice and polite doesn’t do good anything at all. Based from my experience, whenever I treat people right, I don’t get the same treatment I give. Which is really unfair. I’ve been with a selfish, an insensitive, abusive, and mistrusting kind of people. I just can’t believe why I’m still letting them overpower me. And most of the time, I don’t know anymore what to believe in. My instinct? Or the thought of a perfect life I’d die to have?
